The winery lays particular emphasis on a nature-oriented and gentle wine production, which starts in the vineyard by planting cover crops of many different species. The aim is to stimulate the soil and therefore the vines, ensuring a sustained quality of the grapes.
Foliage work in the vineyards is done manually and therefore very gently, which makes it possible to react flexibly, quickly and efficiently to the climatic conditions of the year.
The climate and the different soil types which prevail in the Kamp Valley also add to the special characteristics of the wines. The vineyards around Langenlois are at an intersection where the dry and hot Pannonian climate meets the cool and often rough climate of the north-westerly Waldviertel. The great temperature differences between day and night preserve the delicate aromas.
